What We Do
At No More Empty Pots, we connect people to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education, community development, workforce training, and entrepreneur support. Watch the videos below to learn more.
Our Programs
Project Localize
An educational program that helps classrooms identify and promote sustainable economic, cultural and social progress in their communities. Students not only learn what happens in a food system, they learn about what is happening in their own local food system.
Collaborative Community Centered Food Hub
A community center that will fill critical gaps in our local food systems infrastructure and deliver positive outcomes in job training, workforce readiness, food waste reduction, healthy food access, income generation, and business development.
Shared Commercial Kitchen
As part of the Food Hub, No More Empty Pots is in the planning stages of developing a commercial kitchen that can be used by small, food-centered businesses in addition to community members.
No More Empty Cups
A not-for-profit coffee shop and cafe dedicated to creating community, training entrepreneurs, and building sustainability.
Florence Community Garden
A community-run garden that provides fresh fruits and vegetables to members of the Florence neighborhood and helps teach people of all ages about growing their own food. The garden is a collaborative effort supported by various local organizations.
